A pioneering research initiative driving innovation
The 21st century presents the academy and
society with a new learning environment and research challenges that often
raise questions and frame problems that the traditional higher institutions
model was not designed to confront effectively. Therefore, many higher
institutions have emphasized the importance of the complex interactions between
human sciences (including humanities and social sciences), natural sciences and
technology in the modern period. This network will establish a new paradigm of
practice in the local community integrated through international co-operation
on science and technology in partnership with ASRT.
the National Network of Science Museums is to serve as a platform for partnership, collaboration, and integration in studying, presenting, and interpreting Egypt’s scientific heritage throughout the ages. It aims to strengthen the role of science museums by collecting, restoring, and preserving important scientific heritage in various scientific fields — contributing to the development of science, technology, and industry. It also seeks to provide informational and advisory support to the community, specialists, and researchers across different scientific disciplines through Egypt’s rich scientific heritage
The network seeks to collaborate through institutional and community partnerships to preserve and document Egypt’s scientific heritage using modern scientific methods and technologies. This heritage will be made accessible in public spaces to promote scientific culture and lifelong learning through specialized scientific content. The network also works to develop logical thinking skills and encourage society to engage with science and technology
The project runs over 3 years with several phases of research and development.
